Free Phone Consultation

15 min free telephone consultation so we can discuss your child’s needs to see whether they need a speech and language therapy assessment. An initial assessment if required is then arranged.

Initial assessment

Primarily will take place within the home setting. This involves taking a case history about your child, carrying out an informal and/or formal assessment with your child depending on your child’s age.

Following initial assessment

If the child’s speech, language and communication skills are age-appropriate then no further input will be required. 

If your child’s speech, language and communication skills are not developing as expected then we would discuss what speech and language therapy input would be best for your child. This is individual and tailored to each child as it is highly dependent on their needs. This can include : 

1. Therapy sessions
2. Therapy programmes
3. Further observation/ assessment of your child in a different setting
